I got this car with the intentions of restoring it but find myself without interest or the money to finish it. My loss… and it’s a big one could be your gain. As far back as I tracked the car was sold new out of Whitrock motors in Iowa –still have the dealership key chain-. I tracked the history back through Iowa in the 1980s. The car only reads 55,000 on the odometer and the condition of the interior leads me to believe that they are original. It is a 318 Auto on the floor car with an 8 ¾ rear differential. The motor ran before the restoration started. The car is also still in its original paint. Previous owner had the bottom of the car etch primed. The car also has a lot of cool options AM 8 Track- No longer in the car Cruise –missing Tinted Glass Light Pkg. Front Shoulder Belts Power steering Power Brakes Clock in Dash Console 14” Mag Road Wheels –car has two on it now A/C –missing the condenser Rear Window Defroster- No bezel for gauges or button Wheel lip Chrome Wood Grain Wheel- has been replaced with incorrect 1970 B body Remote Mirror 3 Speed Wipers- Wiper motor is gone And was also a sold car when it was built Like I said before I got this car to restore it and never sell it but times change, therefore I got parts that I wanted for a nice car. New Parts List Door handles- I STILL HAVE THE ORIGINALS WITH THE BLACK BUTTONS Carpet Hood Depression Stripe Kit Fuel Sending Unit Trunk Extensions Inner Splash Shields Fuel Tank Trunk Floor Pans Lower Fender Patches Outer Wheel Housings Both Quarter Panels Lower Rear Valance I have Reciepts I replaced the Drivers side door with a straight rust free door –Original had a dent Extra tail light lenses Amazing Grill All the Chrome is in nice shape, all stainless is good. Original bumpers Nice Dash Door Panels are an 8-8.5 on a 1-10 scale Seats are very nice, but the drivers side bucket had two pleats repaired so the color isn’t perfect. Dutchman Panel has one small hole Has the rare plastic clips for the seat belts Fender Tag/broadcast sheet Where the car is now Both Quarter Panels are welded on Wheel housings are mounted The old trunk pan is out and the welds were drilled out Most of the parts have been taken off, cleaned, labeled, and boxed. No buckets of screws and bolts to sort through. As of now the motor and transmission have been bolted back in the car. The Bad- The tail panel emblem is pitted I would say the tail light housings are driver quality but all lenses are good No Wind Shield Missing seat hinge cover Dash Pad is cracked Needs a rear shackle mount. No Arrow emblems No Wiper Motor No Radio/Bezel As of Now the Car itself is located in Grand Forks and would need to be picked up within ten days of the end of the auction.
