1969 Triumph Trophy

No big story here, just a nice un-restored Triumph 650cc A perfect candidate for restoration. This is a matching numbers bike. The engine matches the frame, but also the gearbox lid, cylinders, head and rockers are the correct items. Has the proper seat, forks and brake components for 69. Still has the "safety standards for 1969" sticker on frame. Where its been cleaned of dirt, the engine casing has a bright shine: no pitting or corrosion. The gas tank has no dents -- inside of the tank looks remarkably good, as new. spark plug threads look great. This motorcycle has been in storage for close to thirty years. looks as though its never been apart. 12,600 actual miles, Motorcycle has original front tire. Rear tire has been replaced with a late 70's Dunlop, consistent with odometer. Still has the original Wisconsin plates from 1977. clean title in hand Valued at $8,000 to $14,000 totally restored! Tank and rear fender were painted at some point. The original paint could be uncovered. I tested a small spot, its there! Ran well when parked; but the rings got stuck from sitting for years. This motorcycle is an excellent prospect for restoration, which it would need to bring it back to running order. All numbers match ! Sold "as is" with clear title and keys.
