This is an original sublime, air grabber car (verified by the build sheet) that has spent most of its life in dry Eastern Washington. The car has all of its original sheet metal except for the drivers fender and is a very good looking car. When this one arrived one of our employees here at Rocket said "why can't the cars we restore be this nice!" Click on the video below to see the car running: The car is a very low option Mopar, just like Road Runner's should be. The only options are the automatic trans, power steering, air grabber hood, remote mirror, AM radio, undercoating and Magnum 500 wheels. This is a coupe without the decor package so it has the cheap interior and no chrome on the B-pillar. You will never lose this car in a parking lot. The car runs and drives well but needs minor work like all of these do. The motor is strong and runs well with headers and a deep oil pan. All of the original air grabber pieces are still with the car and the tranny shifts well. All of the brakes are brand new and it has a 3.23 sure-grip in the back. It has a non-numbers 383 in it out of a C-Body but the tranny is #'s. The car does not have a fender tag but we found a build sheet in it that you can make a fender tag off of. The bottom portion is missing (told this is common to LA cars) but the only thing not on it is the power steering, you can still see the N41 for dual exhaust, N96 for Air Grabber Hood and R11 for AM radio. You can tell the wheels from the part numbers on top. The car has had one so-so paint job on it. It looks really good from 20 feet but get a little closer and you can see some flaws. The car is VERY solid with no underside rust at all. The 1/4's have some bubbling mostly due to the previous paint job. The trunk has surface rust but none of it has gone through. The trunk is very solid and only needs a little clean up. The interior is pretty nice with incorrect replacement Legendary skins and an uncracked original dash pad. The skins in the car now are the upgraded interior and it should have the base skins. It has a clock in it now but originally did not come with anything in the left dash slot. Please e-mail or call us (360-705-0943) to set up an appointment to see the car. The car is located in Olympia, Washington, which is about an hour south of Seattle, Washington. Every effort has been made to make an accurate description of this car, but some things were probably missed. This is an great base for a restoration but it is not without its flaws. It is a 40 year old car, brand new cars break down right off the dealer lot, so please do not assume it is 100% mechanically perfect. We've driven the car about 50 miles around town and it runs well. We accept Money Orders, Cashier's Check, Wire Transfer or Cash in Person. A $500.00 non-refundable deposit must be made within 48 hours of the auction ending.
