Up for auction is a 1972 Chevrolet Camaro RS That was last sold on 10/16/1971! One owner car, Car was originally bought in Fillmore, CA and was built in Norwood, Ohio and has resided in southern california by its original owner it's entire life. Originally equipped with a 350, Automatic, Factory A/C, Power steering, Power disc brakes & tilt steering wheel This is a true Rally Sport. All the body panels on the car are original and a very clean and solid underside with no rust. All of the chrome & trim is in good shape, Car was originally silver and it was painted gray 10+ years ago (mako paint job) They did not spray the jam's so you can still see the original color, but still looks good enough to be a driver! Interior still looks good, the inserts were changed to cloth. The rest of the interior seems to be original. Car runs & drives very smooth with a (NOM) GM 350 Target Crate motor with an automatic transmission. Overall I would say that this car is in great daily driver quality, Car runs & drive's very well with no mechanical issues, The tachometer is not working, they added a separate temperature gauge on the console only things I've seen that does not work, All electrical is working, some minor cosmetic issues you would expect from a 40 year old car. Has some minor rust on your common spot's of the 2nd generation camaros, The trunk pan has rust; due to the original trunk mat, probably best to replace the trunk pan. Has some documentation from the original owner of the vehicle history including; Protect-o plate, sales contract, Original pink slip also the original temporary registration that they give you when you buy a new vehicle dated 1971. Also the original owners manual and a few other documents. Lots of receipts of work done throughout the year's.
