You are bidding on a 1969 Datsun SRL311 roadster 2000 with a 5-speed transmission. I bought this roadster in 1972, and I am the second owner. It has been here in the Mojave Desert its entire life. Therefore, there is only light surface rust not the body cancer rust, which is so common with these cars. It has never been in a accident though I had a tire separate and damage the L/F fender. The extras include a dealer installed roll bar and a hard top. Other than the few parts that are missing, the car is 100% stock. Including original wheels, hubcaps, jack hole plugs, side mirrors, hood lettering and a dealer manual. Missing parts include the front bumper, left front headlight rim, radio, window crank, left front side marker light, most of the side trim and a few small parts. The screen in the grill is not original. The engine was rebuilt in1980, but there was no oil to the camshaft. I removed the camshaft and was going to get to the problem, when circumstances in my life brought everything to a stop. So it has not been run since that time. (30 years).I have the camshaft and parts for the engine. The car only has been driven 87,501 miles. The transmission and the rest of the drive train is in good condition. It has a new clutch package . This is a great car for the person who is interested in a doing a complete restoration. The title and certificate of non-operation are current and there are no leans against the car. The car is sold (as is) with no further guarantees other than stated above.
