THE JAMES DEAN LOOK BUT WITH A LOT OF LUXURY!!!!! 1949 LINCOLN CUSTOM CLUB COUPE WITH 30,260 ORIGINAL MILES! The car originated in Florida and I am the 2nd owner.It still has Florida Title & tags as I drove it for many years at my Florida home,and now I shipped to my home in Canada to take it to car shows during the summer but now I am selling it due to health issues. It has a 160HP 337 Cubic inch V8 flathead engine,with Edmonds aluminum heads and intake manifolds.Also 2 new dual barrel Holly carbs and solid lifter cam.It has a 3 speed manual transmission with overdrive and shifts perfectly. It has independant front suspension with rear semi-Elliptic leaf springs and 4 wheel drum brakes.,It comes with the 4 original Lincoln emblem full hub-caps. It has working power windows.I have just installed a new manual fuel pump and a new 6 volt electric fuel pump by Airtex .I have also added a new 6 volt battery,new wire set,rotor,8 plugs,points,condenser,distributor cap,coil,voltage regulator,generator,and 2 new carburators. The car was just serviced,oil and gas filters,greased and oil change. I have added 2 new chrome side mirrors. The car starts and drives like new and underneath was undercoated years ago and looks A-1,no visible rust.Inside...upholstery looks like new. This is a very rare car;it has the original fender skirts,wide whitewall tires,original AM radio with push buttons which works fine.Attached to the rear of the front seats are the original roll-down lighted ashtrays with cigarette lighters.Very classy! All lights are working.It also has a new dual stainless exhaust system and mufflers which sounds wild! Underneath the car, the frame and floor pans look like the rest of the car...no rust ever. All the chrome is like new...breathtaking,as is the whole car! There is a small paint chip on the front passenger fender as the picture shows;not a dent just a chip. Illness forces me to sell her.She is looking for a good home. sold AS IS,no warranties implied whatsoever.
