Hi you are bidding on a 1964 Oldsmobile Dynamic 88 2 door coupe. This car was purchased new by my father and has been in the family since then. The car is equiped with a 394ci 2bbl engine with automatic transmission, power steering, power brakes. The car has 36xxx original miles. This car was used mostly in its first 9 years of its life then for the next 38 years it has been garaged and used as a Sunday driver. It runs and drives well, mostly short local trips. It has some rusting on the bumpers and some on the lower panels, chipping hear and there and some small dings. Pitting on hood and trunk chrome trim [see photos] . The turnk is solid with the original spare and jack, . It comes complete with original owners manual and ORIGINAL window sticker [that one gets a lot of looks]. The car has had a repaint sometime in the late 1970's. The glass is all good nothing broken, and the windows roll up and down fine. New tires were put on 5/27/88 [i have the reciept] with 35464 miles on the car then, so you can get an idea on its use in the last 22 years of its life. Still has the Midas muffler warranty from 8/28/69 . I have 2 sets of keys [1 set is the original and one set was made after. The interior seats are in great shape with no rips or tears, but the interior door panels need to be redone, the front floor mats appear to be the originals, carpeting is good [small wear through on drivers side front] . wipers, lights, horn, all work fine. The radio lights up when turned on but no sound. The car is a good "20 footer" it is as is. Thank you for your interest. If you need the exact miles please ask. On Sep-28-10 at 12:28:05 PDT, seller added the following information: Many have asked if the i thought if the car can be driven a distance after pick up, as i have stated in the discription the car has been driven short distances for the last 37 years, 5 mile radius from its home, based on that fact i would suggest having the car transported rather than driven, i have not had any experiance with this car for long trips, around town as a sunday driver is all that i have used it, that call is up to the buyer, if it was me i would have it transported.
