2005 BMW R-Series

After nearly six years of riding fun I've decided to look for a new toy. So I need to get rid of this one first. If you're looking at R1200GS then you probably already know all the relevant specs so here are the particulars for this one. There is nothing wrong with this machine, I just feel like it's time for a new/different toy. 2005 model purchased in Nov 2004 from BMW Daytona. This was a factory Demo with a few thousand miles (3000 If I remember correctly) so I am the only owner besides BMW. Didn't sell on previous listing so I've dropped the reserve in line with NADA plus extras and will try again. Will entertain trade offers for a Mazda Miata or Harley FXDP of comparable value. Has the ABS option and as you can see also the spoke wheel option. Mileage is 38900 today and subject to go up a few more before the sale. The bike comes with the BMW Vario side cases(about $600 new), BMW engine protection bars(about $300 new), Tourtech tank bag(about $100 new) and Cee Baily +2h+2w windscreen(about $100 new) original windscreen included as well, also has Airflow brand headlight guard. Rider, pillion and stealth backrest all covered in leather by Rick Meyers (about $600 worth). The color scheme I stole from the BMW Roundel (Blue/White). The tires are ok for a few thousand more miles. All maintenance has been performed at the manufacturer specified intervals at Bogarts BMW in Birmingham, AL. This bike has never been dropped or wrecked or damaged in any way, It has been ridden mostly on pavement but also on many dirt and gravel roads when I see an interesting one. It is not sparkling clean because I really ride it. Everything works as it should and also has a battery tender pigtail to keep the battery topped up. Clear title in hand.
