1993 Cadillac Allante with Northstar Engine 85150 Miles This has been a Texas car its whole life, and has a recent new paint job (original color) and brand new leather seats (exact leather replacement to original). It also has had the struts and shocks replaced in the last 2,000 miles and is an exceptionally clean car. The radiator was replaced in the last 2,000 miles. The car is serviced about every six months (we drive it less than 500 miles a year). The Northstar engine runs as if new and is fast and strong. We park this car in our garage and it sits, usually covered - we just don't have time to drive it, which is the reason we finally decided to sell it. I'm not going to list all the standard luxury features on this car - just the ones that are special to this vehicle - if you have any questions, please ask! This car has the analog dash. It has chrome wheels. It also comes with an xm radio hidden and mounted in the glove compartment and hooked up directly to the radio - it works perfectly. I also have the two wing covers for the convertible top cover (see picture of trunk). The air conditioning works great and blows cold. The heater also works great! The tires look new....I don't know how many miles they have but I suspect they have less than 10,000 miles of wear. Now for the age related issues - The dash is slightly warped near the windshield making the defroster vent not sit flush - this is apparently a common problem on these cars and I include instructions on how to fix it from the Allante Club magazine - I haven't had the time. The sun visors both need new mirror and light assemblies - the original ones are cracked and falling apart. And the CD player runs, but either needs serious cleaning, or other repair - I don't use it and haven't had it repaired. The carpet on the doors has slight discoloration as it faded from the sun. You can change the carpet, clean them or even re dye them. It appears to only be on the doors (see picture of interior showing bottom of passenger door). Other wise, this is a great car and is tons of fun to drive. We have four cars including another older classic and just don't have time to drive this one, or repair the issues I listed above.
