SUPER FAST You are looking at a 2009 BMW 335i, powered by a powerful TWIN TUBO CHARGED and Intercooled in-line six-cylinder, 3.0L DOHC 24-valve engine w/variable valve timing and direct fuel injection, delivering 300 horsepower through a 6 Speed Steptronic Transmission. BMW has created this ultimate all-around sport sedan with insane twin-turbo engine, sleek yet stealthy styling, spot-on steering and handling sedan. The secret is under the hood, which shelters a twin-turbo version of the 3.0-liter inline six. With both turbos generating max boost—about 8.5 psi—the six twirls up a robust 300 horsepower and 300 pound-feet of torque. This engine is sufficient to propel the 3616-pound 335i to 60 mph in 4.8 seconds, which is extremely impressive. In the center of the dash, you will find the LCD NAVIGATION system screen. It does an excellent job - the screen display is easily visible in all light, even for people wearing polarized sunglasses. Control is by the latest generation of BMW's iDrive system. For active safety, this 335i has responsive handling and quick steering to stay out of trouble, enhanced by four-wheel vented disc. The standard Dynamic Stability Control System includes the usual anti-lock, traction control, stability enhancement, and brake control functions, and can compensate for the effects of brake fade and water on the discs. It does so by increasing hydraulic pressure when brake temperatures rise. When the throttle pedal is abruptly released, the brake pads are pressed snugly against the rotors in preparation for braking thus decreasing the brake reaction time. It also has Twin Tube gas pressure shock absorbers and Engine-speed-sensitive, variable-assist power steering. Similarly, when the standard windshield-wiper rain-sensing system detects moisture, the brake pads are periodically brought just close enough to the rotors to wipe away any water film for better braking performance when it is needed. This 335i is equipped with Run-flat tires with a flat-tire warning system. Another nice feature is the connectivity between the rain-sensing wipers and the automatic headlights; when rain activates the wipers it also activates the headlights. Standard equipment includes driver and front passenger frontal airbags, front-to-rear head airbags covering the entire window area and side airbags for the driver and front passenger. The interior design and comfort only reinforces BMW's reputation. It has more of a luxury car character. Front-seat comfort is first-rate. Both front seats come with 8-way power options and 2-way manual headrests with Active Head Restraints feature along with driver memory with 2 presets for exterior mirror and seat positions. Rear-seat space is marginally increased and good for the size of the car. Nighttime access is helped by interior courtesy lighting and small external spotlights in the front-door handles. WHAT DOES REBUILT OR SALVAGE TITLE MEANS Many people are not familiar with the meaning of Rebuilt title, below is a brief explanation of the "Salvage verses Rebuilt Title" terminology: Salvage title basically means that the insurance company decided not to fix the car and paid off the owner. By declaring a car "Total Loss”, Insurance Company is taking themselves out of any liability issues in the future. Does that means the car is totaled, not always. Sometimes the car has minor damage but the parts are very expensive. Sometimes the owner does not want to get the vehicle repaired and depending on the Insurance Company and the year of the car, Insurance will pay off the car. If the car gets stolen then Insurance has thirty days to recover the vehicle, if the car is not recovered in thirty days, Insurance pays off the owner and once the car is recovered, it is brought to the auction as a Total Loss vehicle even if it did not have a single scratch on it. We have bought 'Total Loss" cars from Insurance companies with door dings, extremely minor fender bender, theft recovered vehicles with absolutely no damage. In brief Total Loss does not always mean that the car was in a bad wreck or had extensive damage. We do not buy anything with major damage. Now for Rebuilt title, once the repairs are completed, car is inspected by state for all repairs and a Rebuilt Title is issued, which means that the new owner will not have to get any inspection done to get the car back on the road.
