This auction is for a 2000 Honda Odyssey mini-van with a bad transmission. We bought this vehicle in 2004 with 49,000 miles on it, and we have kept it well maintained. The van has been kept in a garage by us and the previous owner. All maintenance since we have owned it has been performed at a Honda dealership (Jay Honda), including all scheduled oil changes. Honda replaced the original transmission with a re-built transmission at 94,754 miles. We have all maintenance records available from the time period we have owned this vehicle. The van also needs a new engine mount (which is not expensive since it needs to be removed as part of replacing the transmission). Other than the transmission, the van is in excellent running condition, and works and operates as it should, including the air conditioning. We have decided to not spend the money to replace the transmission. The exterior is in fair conditon with some minor scratches and dents. There is some rust near the gas tank. The upholstery is in good conditon with no tears or stains. The carpeting and floor mats are in good condition with normal wear, and no tears. Recent maintenance on the van includes: -New drivers side door lock, new battery: 157,682 miles, 7/31/2010 -4 new tires, left and right tie rod ends replaced, front lower control arm replaced, alignment: 146,771 miles, 2/23/2010 -Front brakes, rotors resurfaced, tires rotated, transmission fluid changed: 130,255 miles, 3/32009 -SRS unit replaced, rear wheel sensor replaced, rear brakes, spark plugs replaced, timing belt package, alignment, air filter replaced: 123,387 miles, 9/30/2008 This van needs a new (or re-built transmission). It currently starts and runs normally. The van currently shifts into all gears, but will only run for short distances in drive. You are welcome to stop by and look at this van. This is a NO RESERVE AUCTION, and it will require a deposit of $150 within 24 hours of the end of the auction. The deposit is payable through paypal but the remainder must be paid in cash at the time of pickup within 1 week of the auction's end. Please, only bid if you have the money on hand, and please understand that the buyer will be responsible for delivery or pickup of the van. We can not guarantee that the van will be able to be driven away by the successful bidder. The transmission gave out about a month ago, and we managed to drive it from Kent, OH back to our home in Medina, OH (about 35 miles). It has been in our garage ever since. It may need to be moved either by trailer or towing. We have been starting the van and letting it run for a while every couple of days.
