1964 Jaguar Series I Vintage Race Car This is a vintage race car project that was started and never finished, the body has been stripped to bare metal, the seams have been welded and smoothed, the bumpers, front turn lights and fuel door eliminated and smoothed, the exterior was repainted with base coat clear coat, roll cage installed, all done with the intent to build a vintage racer. Overall the condition of this Jaguar is good. It appears the body still has most of the original sheet metal, including the footwells, The paint and body work look to have been professional done. The paint was sanded and polished and looks nice. There are a few paint scrapes from storage and transport. The lower rear corners of the bonnet are slightly damaged. As you can see the car was completely disassembled, so it's difficult to see what all is missing. The major part that is obviously missing is the front sub-frames, I have the front a-arms, steering rack, spindasl and hubs. ( see pictures) Just no sub-frame. The engine is apart and the parts have been scattered so the buyer should assume the engine is not complete. You can have the engine parts I have. the block, heads, 2 cranks, old pistons, oil pan, carbs and intake and the small parts. ( see picture) The rear suspension is apart, but all the major parts are there, differential, shafts, swing arms and cage.( see picture) Missing parts are the gauges, electrical and wiring, fuel tank, transmission, front sub-frame, all the bright work ( chrome and stainless) the Lights, seats, interior and the VIN tags (Vehicle Identification Number). because there is no vin number the car will be sold as is, with a BOS.
