Up for auction is my 1998 Mercedes E300 Turbo Diesel. It is rare to find this vehicle right now and mine is in fantastic condition for being over 12 years old. These autos with this fantastic turbo diesel engine are known to run forever if they are maintained properly. Amazing fuel economy up to 34MPG and biofuel capability, with legendary Mercedes-Benz luxury and reliability. With gas prices on the rise, people are searching high and low for diesel vehicles they can buy to convert the engines to run on vegetable oil or bio diesel. This car is the ideal candidate for running on bio diesel or converting the engine easily to run directly on waste vegetable oil.....talk about big savings potential. I am not going to do a super detailed listing like the autodealers do here on Ebay, so if I don't answer a question you may have, please feel free to ask and I will get back to you quickly. The body is in great condition for its age with a few minor rock chips on the hood. I recently had these cleaned up by a detail shop and installed one of those invisible bras on the hood to prevent future rock chips. The rest of the paint looks really good without any rust anywhere. I haven't waxed it for a little while, but with a wax and some elbow grease this car still shines like almost new. The interior is fantastic. All of the leather and the wood trim look great for its age. The original owner placed floor carpets on top of the interior and they have stayed in place ever since, so when you pull these out, the original carpet and floor carpets look brand new, really cool! On the dash, their are some very minor cracking that is showing, but I guess this is pretty common for this age of car. I actually had a detail shop repair these, but they still show a little bit, just want to be as honest as possible. The car has been regularly serviced and babied by me. I also just put on 4 new tires just last week, so they are brand new for the next owner. I also had a shop recently replace all of the fuel lines as they were showing a little cracking, so that is a plus for the next owner as they should now last for a really long time.
