Vehicle Detail
I bought this car while in College from the original owner who lived in Arizona. I drove it everyday for about a year. Then I got married and had children. Since then this car has not been driven much. It was garaged for about six years, getting started every couple of weeks or so. While I was driving it I spent a lot of money on repairs. I had the rear main oil seal replaced, the air conditioning was replaced (compressor included), the suspension system was repaired, the thermostat/hoses/belts were replaced, and all the fluids changed. In preparation for selling the car, I have changed the fuel pump and fuel filter and have rebuilt the throttle body injection unit. The car could still use a tuneup, but it starts up quickly and runs well. Since it needs a tuneup it does not produce as much power as it could, but I expect that to be mostly because it has not been driven much. After it warms up it does hesitate a little upon acceleration. The interior of the car is in good condition. The leather seats in the front show a little more wear than the rear but there are no rips or tears. The back seat is like brand new. I installed a nice dash cover years ago as well as an Alpine CD player. The only things I'm aware of that are not working perfectly are the windshield wipers and drivers side power mirror. The windshield wipers turn on and work but sometimes don't turn off properly. As I mentioned the car does hesitate upon acceleration. The exterior of the car is in good condition, there are only a few spots of rust on the car. The front bumper has a little bit of rust too. This car was from Arizona and was in excellent condition. Then I drove it in Utah during the winter, shame on me! Darn road salt. The soft top is fairly worn, but does not have any huge pieces that flap around, it's all intact. There are some tears, but I patched them. This is a very nice car and I really hope a collector recognizes this as a great opportunity to get a beautiful old car. I am a family man now and I don't have the time or storage space to play with it. Please check out the pictures, it's a pretty car and I'll miss it! This car is sold as-is and the buyer is responsible for pickup and/or shipping.
