For sale is a 1978 Volkswagon Westfalia van. It comes equiped with a stove, sink, frig & furnace. All original equipment! As you can see in the pictures it also has a pop up top. The top canvas is the original as far as I know. It as some tears and is fragile. It also has camper hock-ups - electric and water. I've never used either so I can not attest to the working condition but everything is there. I have owned the van for 4 years. It was not running when I bought it. The previous owner had installed a small block chevy motor and radiator. I removed them both and installed a rebuilt 2100cc motor. The van runs good. My son and I worked on the van together and he traveled all over the mid-west with it. I also installed a $1000 sound system that will stay in the van. It's a lot of fun to drive around in! As for what does not work - it has no heat. The original heaters were not very good. It consisted of a blower and some atachments to the exhaust system. The baffles/doors are not on this vehicle and I don't think the blower works, although it did at one time. While the body is in pretty good shape, there are some issues that will need attention. The engine compartment door on the rear is missing the top hinge pin.(see pic's) It rusted through and fell off. There are very few rusty places on the body. The van was origianlly from Colorado. The front nose is beat up some. It did have a spare carrier mounted on it. The electrical wiring will probably also need some attention. I never did anything to the enterior. I assume it is original as well. I would meet you somewhere within 100 miles. Any more than that and you're on your own for transporting the van after purchasing it. It does run but I probably wouldn't take off cross country in it! It is over 30 years old!! If you have questions or need more pictures please feel free to contact me through e-bay.
