This 1971 Chevy Suburban originated as a Custom 10 1/2 ton. It was converted in 2001 by company out of Denver to a 1 ton dually. It has a 454 motor and a TH 400 automatic tranny. It was built to pull and that it does. The motor and tranny have less than 20K miles on them and it has not been driven much since it was purchased in 2002. My dad used it mainly to tow his bass boat to and from the lake which is only about 60 miles round trip. He has since purchased a new truck and no longer drives the "Blue Beast"... and rather than let it sit and waste away...I talked him into selling it. It is in very good condition for the year but by no means am I listing it as "restored". It is what it is....it does need paint and carpet. It has 2004 Tahoe bucket seats with the matching center console. It has factory A/C...front and back that works but needs charged. The middle seat and 3rd seat are factory with original upholstry. It has power steering and power breaks. It has aftermarket cruise and power locks. The tires are new Toyo M/T's from our local Les Schwab. The windshield has a crack but will be replace prior to delivery to the winning bidder. It will most likely need rocker panels on both sides as they are the first to go on these old burbans. But for the most part it is VERY structrually sound and I would drive it cross country without hestitation. It drives very smoothly with no shakes or rattles. I just had the oil changed, the transmission serviced, the transfer case and drive train servcied and replaced the electric fuel pump. So it is ready to drive any place you want to go! There is no reserve price set for this auction. We are located 50 miles from Boise Idaho and can deliver to the Boise Airport as an option for delivery. Otherwise, the buyer is fully responsible for all shipping, pickup and/or delivery. An immediate deposit of $500 via paypal is required upon completion of the auction with the balance to be paid within 7 days from the close of the auction.
