I believe it is a nice value at the price we have it listed at ! Cars like this were quite a novelty in their day to say the least but now, in this kind of shape ? What a find! The Bug enthusiast should be pleased to own this BEAUTY. This is a Karmann convertible which they tell me means it was built in Germany and is the one to have. I drove this BEAUTY as and running errands as needed and I can assure you this car runs and drive well. I drove it to the office the other morning with the top down and can see why these cars are so loved by their owners, TO FUN !! It also does well on the freeway at highway speeds . If you can make it to Ardmore Oklahoma in the next seven days please come look at and drive this car for yourself you won't be disappointed !! The car has what appears to be the smooth, original 1.6 liter Fuel Injected converted to Carburetor V W four cylinder motor in it and running well was rebuilt approx. 10 years ago maybe 2000 miles on it. . It also has a smooth four speed manual gearbox which also functions well. The BLACK convertible top is NEW and goes up and down easily as its supposed to do. The INTERIOR is also in nice condition with good front bucket seats, NICE rear bench seat, NICE black carpeting, good ORIGINAL steering wheel, NICE door panels, new White headliner but as some black spots on it . In my opinion your not going to find a much nicer looking INTERIOR than the one in this car unless it is new, UNBELIEVABLE !! This Bug Convertible is nicely equipped including a brand new AM/FM stereo radio with aux input for Ipod/ MP3 player, usb and memory card slot, and nice aftermarket speaker's mounted in the door panels, Dual factory exterior mirrors, factory rear window defroster for the Glass rear window, good heater and defroster and good factory seat belts. This is a quality car that drives very well and is nice and tight. It is a really COOL little vehicle. Three radial tires have age cracks and 1 new tire on mags in good condition . The Original chrome and stainless on this car is all good including NICE front and rear chrome bumpers. . This good be a nice collector vehicle and it has plenty of good looks to boot !
