1996 Impala SS **Most Desired Model**(5.7L V8 LT1 Corvette Engine) **Collector Car with less than 36,000 Miles!! Wish I didn't have to sell it. If you want to get noticed, this car is for you! Collector Car as well. Very rare to be in such AMAZING condition!!! This vehicle was previously branded "RECONSTRUCTED" on its title while in Idaho. Since then I have purchased it and titled it in Wisconsin where there is different criteria to determine if a car is Rebuilt/Reconstructed. The title currently has no such brand. This vehicle was in a front end accident that there is no longer any sign of damage from, front end has been repaired, airbags have been professionally replaced and the frame has been checked and had no damage. The main reason for the low autocheck score is the number of owners. I can assure you that two of those owners did not drive the car, whatsoever, the first being an insurance company and then the following owner purchased the car from an insurance company, kept in his garage worked on it for a few years as a project then sold it with it still needing some more work done. The next owner was the guy I purchased this from who I actually know, he only put a couple thousand miles on this car while finishing up any other minor repairs (the car was garage kept that entire time as well). Since I have had the car I have only put about 8,000 summer driving miles on it and it has been garage kept when not being driven, 1000 of those miles were put on when I went and picked up the car from my buddy in Idaho, I had an extremely smooth ride home with zero problems and have not had any problems thus far (only routine oil changes and maintenance). The only real driving has been done by the original owner and myself. This car's in great shape there is hardly any rust on the undercarriage showing that this car came from the west coast and has been garage kept. This car has been babied and the interior is in the best condition I have seen for any 1996 Impala SS. Everything on the dashboard looks new, the carpets have been well maintained, as is the headliner. The leather seats are in unbelievable condition there is only some slight wear in the leather on the drivers side (No cuts, tears, or anything major). EVERY SINGLE THING ON THIS CAR WORKS! I've seen many cars of this age and even a little newer that have a little thing here or there that doesn't function properly or at all (things like trunk button or window switches), this car has none of those issues from switches to gauges...everything works. The trunk is still in excellent condition with the spare tire and tire cover and jack all still there. Tires treads still have plenty of life in them and the brakes do as well.
