Vehicle Detail

This is a very unique vehicle*. It is a 2004 Ford Mustang GT Convertible, with only 30,500 miles on it, that has been professionally enhanced by Roush Performance. This is their “Stage 2” model, which means the engine in pretty much a stock Ford 4.6L V8 GT engine. Roush substantially modifies the suspension for better handling, and they greatly improve the appearance. This is the last year for the Roush side exhaust system. It even has the trademark Roush tool kit mounted to the trunk lid. Every time I take it out it draws attention. If I had a nickel for every time someone said “nice car”, I'd be a rich man! This is equipped with a 5-speed transmission, Roush custom leather interior, factory 5-disc CD player, cruise, air, tilt, power windows, power locks, power seat, etc. I am not the original owner, although I bought this car from a Ford dealer in Scottsdale, Arizona. I had it shipped to me here in Omaha. It has seen very little rain, and certainly never seen snow! Always stored in a garage. It appears to me the previous owner took very good care of this car. Certainly since I've had it, it's been babied. I've never mistreated it. I'm a 45+ year old cruiser, not a teenager. It has just over 30,000 miles on it – and therefore you can expect it has a few rock chips here and there, but overall it looks awesome! I drive it, not show it! This car has never been wrecked. There is nothing wrong with it. I just changed the oil (Mobile 1 Synthetic) and filters. Just drive it and enjoy it. NOTICE - NEW INFORMATION - A couple of ebayers had questions about whether this is in fact a genuine Roush built car. The short answer is "yes". On Roush's website www.RoushPerformance.com under the HELP section, you can enter the last six digits of the VIN# (listed above) to verify its authenticity. I spoke with the folks at Roush today to inquire into getting a Certificate of Authenticity. I was told that they do not offer Certificates of Authenticity for 2004 or older vehicles, but for a small fee they could generate a reproduction of the original window sticker. I ordered this window sticker reproduction and I should have it in my hands by the end of the week. As soon as I receive it I will scan it and add it to the picture gallery. Please email me if you have any questions. Thanks for looking. IF YOU'RE A DEALER OR BROKER – DON'T BOTHER CONTACTING ME!!!!! From Wikipedia... Roush Performance, established by former Ford engineer Jack Roush in 1988, had been known for providing performance parts, vehicles and engines. The company introduced three packages for the Mustang. Stage 1 came with 17-inch (430 mm) wheels, a lowered suspension and a side-mounted exhaust system. In addition, it came with an air dam, side skirts and a rear spoiler. Stage 2 was an upgraded Stage 1 with 18-inch (460 mm) alloy wheels and BFGoodrich Comp T/A Tires. The suspension was extensively modified with Bilstein shocks, High-rate springs, stiffer anti-roll bars and new control arms. Roush claimed it achieved 1.0g lateral acceleration and was on par with the Porsche 911 Turbo. Both Stage 1 and Stage 2 came with V6 or V8 engine options. *According to the fnsweet.com, there were only 4 torch red Roush Stage 2 Mustangs built in 2004.
