1953 F100 PROJECT about 10 years ago. The gentle man that owned this truck passed away recently. He had also purchase the truck as a project. I will do my best to describe what is with this truck and what has been done to the chassis. It is completely disassembled.The frame is clean and rust free and It has been boxed in critical areas to add strength. The welding is professionally done. It has been converted to a Mustang II front end and frame mounts for a BB ford engine. The rear of the frame has all of the brackets and crossmembers for 4 a link with coilover shocks. There is a nine inch ford rearend that has been totally rebuilt with all of the suspension brackets welded to it. The frame needs to be sandblasted and powdercoated. All of the Chassis parts have been primed and need to be painted. List of parts that go with it: All new, spindles, rotors, calipers, bearings, rear brake shoes and hardware Rebuild Mustang steering rack, Tilt ford steering column, new tire rod ends , New upper and lower control arms, ball joints and springs New rear four link bars with new chrome coil over shocks. New updated wiring harness New Hooker Super comp headers for 460 Brake booster and master cylinder. There are two factory dashes one with gauges and one without. The cab was primed about 15 years ago and would need some attention. It has shaved door handles. It has a small amount of rust in the usually places, it has a front and rear glass installed. There are no side glasses with the truck. The bed, tailgate, rear fenders look like they would be usable. There is a grill, radiator support and front valance panel There are NO; front fenders,, hood,, bumpers, running boards or wheels and tires. NO motor and trans If you are going to street rod your mid fifty truck you can buy this and save yourself time, money and hard work on your chassis. On Sep-06-10 at 11:08:39 PDT, seller added the following information: To answer a few questions; I'm not sue what rear gear is in the rebuild nine inch pictured. I also have rebuilt chunk with a 3.90 gear, that I will sell for to the winner for an additional 250. The truck also has a new front sway bar with all new bushings it also has a new set of gas shocks for the front. Although the headers are new and for a BB ford there are no engine or transmission mounts welded to the frame, so it will readly accept your motor and trans combo with bolt in motor and trans mounts for less than 300.00. I do however, have fat fingers and I’m evidently not very thorough in proof reading my ads. The Ford truck I have for sale is a 1955 Ford F100 not a 1953. I do realize there is little difference in the two years, but if you had your heart set on a 53 please don’t bid anymore. I promise to try and do a better job in the future.
