2001 Jeep Wrangler TJ 4 Cyl./5 Spd. Non-Smoker Jeep in Awesome Condition. New Soft Top. Ice Cold A/C. No Leaks. Does not look anything like it has 143740 miles on it! This is the Wrangler you have been looking for! Great car for student or just for fun! I am offering a 2001 Jeep Wrangler with 143740 miles for sale. It is Red with Tan cloth interior in excellent condition. 4 cylinder with 5 speed manual transmission. New Soft Top. This Jeep is in awesome condition and does not look like it has the miles that it does! This Jeep is ready to go to anywhere, take the windows out and cruise or use the ice cold a/c! Good gas mileage with the 4 cylinder engine that does not leak anything. Will not last long! My Observations....... I would give the paint and exterior condition of the car a 8 and the interior a 9. The paint shows normal wear consistant with a 10 year old car. There are a few minor scratches in the paint that are hard to even get pictures of. There are no dents but wear is consistant with age. Windshield is perfect with no chips/cracks. The top is new and all clear plastic is perfect. The interior is in excellent condition overall. Cloth is nice and clean with no stains, rips or tears. Carpet has a couple of stains in the back. The Jeep also has a HomeLink gate/garage door opener built in near the emegency brake. I have the rear spare tire mount with third brake light (does not function at this time) and a spare wheel and tire that are the same size that are on the Jeep. The tires will need replacing in the near future but are ok for now. Again, this is a 10 year old vehicle with 143000 miles on it and it will have some flaws, it is not brand new! I am a small pre-owned car dealer in Houston, TX. I have bought and sold cars my whole life and finally decided to get my dealer's license and make a little business out of it and have some fun as I love all types of cars. I only search for very nice, clean, cars to resell. This car can be seen by appointment by calling 713-542-9864 and is in Southwest, Houston, TX. You are welcome to do an inspection on the car if desired at the prospective buyer's expense. Purchasing instructions: I require a $500 deposit by Paypal to secure the transaction within 48 hours of the auction ending. The balance will be due in full when the car is delivered, or before, and within 14 days of the auction ending by either cash or verifiable bank/cashier's check or wire transfer. I DO NOT offer any type of financing. You must obtain financing on your own through your bank or credit union. Funds will be verified before release of the vehicle. Buyer is responsible for paying Texas Automobile Sales Tax (6.25%) and registration fees at time of sale to 1012 Motorcars. I will register the car and get the license plates and registration documents to you within 21 days of the finalized sale. If you reside outside Texas, you will be responsible for registering and paying taxes in your own state and will not have to pay Texas sales tax or registration. Shipping, Pick ups, warranties, etc.: I will assist in shipping at the buyer's expense. I will be happy to pick you up from either Houston Intercontinental or Houston Hobby airport should you win the auction. And, of course, if the car is not what I have represented it to be, when you come within 14 days, your deposit will be refunded and you will not be obligated to go through with the purchase. After 14 days, the deposit will become non-refundable. Please have your financing in order prior to the auction end. I want you to be happy with the vehicle. This is a used car and there may be a little scratch or ding somewhere on the car. There are no warranties from the seller. This car is available for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the auction at any time if car is sold outside of auction. Please check my feedback. Every once in a while the A/C Fan clutch (?) squeals when the engine is started and A/C is on. It happens about every 5th time the Jeep is started and goes away after about 8-10 seconds.On Aug-21-10 at 05:43:35 PDT, seller added the following information: I said in the description that there are no dents. This is true except for a couple of small dimples in the hood. Hard to get a picture of but I will try and post one later today.
