Vehicle Detail
You are bidding on a Triumph 650cc TR6C, competition model. As you can see from the pics, it has some of its original parts. This would be perfect for your bobber or chopper conversion. Sell off all the stock stuff and buy your hardtail, etc. Also could be ridden with some love and attention. It runs, but it needs work on the points and timing. It backfires out of the right pretty badly and some on the left, pumps good oil pressure though. It sat for a long long time and would need tires, a rear sproket and a bunch of other stuff to make it streetable. I would recommend rewiring it and adding modern components like an electronic ignition and postronics or Sparx regulator. Wiring is old and crusty and hacked together. Glass is cracked on speedo, has aftermarket TT pipes, levers and switches are not original, keyswitch works with a screwdriver and is a little jacked up. Headlight is not original, chainguard is missing, rear fender is cracked around the lower part. Oil tank is dented, tank has a few scuffs and a dent or two. Monoblock carb is incorrect. Tires are shot, chain is probably shot, rear sproket is shot. Frame is not cut, wheels look good, fender stays are bent, front fender is dented, headlight ears are jacked up, etc, etc, etc. You will find a bunch of stuff wrong with it that I don't even mention. BUT, it seems to be a tight motor that would run with some new plug wires, maybe coils and some work on the timing. This thing as a ton of potential. Has a California TITLE, NOT in my name. Buy this as a rolling (badly) running project and you will not be disappointed. Normal 0 MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 I will ship this bike anywhere, Japan and the UK are the easiest, I would estimate about $600 or $700 plus docking or tarrifs on YOUR end. I have no idea what these might be. I expect a $500 dollar NON-REFUNDABLE deposit within 48 hours of the end of the auction through PAYPAL, the balance due before shipping or pickup. If you want to pick up the bike, please have CASH or a Wells Fargo Personal Money order so that we can go to my bank and cash it before I let you leave with the bike. Please do not deviate from this plan. I am reasonable, but I just don’t want any stress on that part. I can probably move this bike most anywhere in the US but I am unsure of the cost, maybe $300 to $600 depending on your location. I have contacts that can help us ship it, I am also willing to go with any shipper you want or know. We can work that out but I am not going to spend hours and hours researching a cheap shipper so the buyer saves $100 bucks. BUY IT!!
