Im listing this car for a friend of mine as he has lost storage. Im keeping car inside my garage until car is sold. This is a very nice 1949 Ford 2 door that is a combination of both restored and original. As can be seen by the pictures it is a very solid car and I see only a couple of small spots on the whole body, one by the grille and on the very bottom of the left rear quarter that might have a few small bubbles that can hardly be seen, it has decent paint, its not top show but a very nice car for the local meets and to have a good time with. It runs excellent, I have taken this car to a couple of shows in the last few weeks and even in the Florida 90 plus degree weather she runs cool with no overheat. Holds perfect oil pressure and it is as quiet as a mouse. And it also has no smoke or blow by. Starts right up clutches nice and smooth and the brakes stop straight and percise. The chrome and stainless are in very good shape. I see no pitting and it shines excellent. It has a visor which is in very good condition. Fender skirts and dual exhaust which has a very nice sound (not very loud), sounds like smittys. The trunk is nice and clean also. The dash is original and looks very nice, radio does not work at present The interior has been completely redone, including headliner and carpets. Its kinda roll and pleated but but very tastefully done. Really nice inside and the seats are very comfortable. So what we have here is a ready for the shows, turn keys nice looking 49 Ford 2DR that you can enjoy at the shows as soon as you own it. I know of nothing that it needs to enjoy up on ownership. So if this is something you might enjoy bid to own. This car runs and drives like a 49 should and will not be a money pit for enjoyment once you own it.
