You are looking at my 2005 Dodge Ram 2500 turbo diesel 4x4. This powerhouse of a truck is in great shape. I am the second owner of this beauty. I bought it when it had about 60,000 miles on it. This baby is sitting on 4 matching tires with less than 6500 miles on them with lots of tread life left. It has a 3" lift that really makes this truck look sharp. If you dont like the lift it would be easy to remove. It was on there when I bought it so I just left it on. This truck gets great fuel mileage. I usually average around 18 miles to the gallon. On the highway it will get 20-22 mpg. The truck runs down the road straight without pull to the right or the left. The nerf bars were built by my local welding shop and are super strong and welded to the frame. The glass on the truck is in great shape. The seats are free of any rips or tears ( I always used seat covers). It has not been smoked in since I have owned it. I dont know before that, but it does not smell of any smoke. The manual transmission is super easy to shift and the clutch is in good shape. The truck pulls very strong on its new motor. At around 90,000 miles it started to use oil and have a lot of blow-by. I took it into the dodge dealer, and they said the motor had been dusted because of an aftermarket air filter. They would not warranty and of the work. Luckilly I had an exteded warranty that would cover it. So, the truck has a remanufactured 5.9 L common rail Cummins long block (supplied by south Houston engine service serial # 4229). There is about 4500 miles on the new motor, and it purrs like a kitten with no blow-by or oil usage. I have all the paperwork on the motor work. While this truck was in the shop I bought a 2008 Ford F-350 diesel. The 05 dodge will out-pull, out-run, and get better fuel mileage than the ford. This truck should be a great truck for many more miles to come. The motor is like new. The emergency brake handel is broked (can still be used) and the e-brake needs to be adjusted. There are 3 small paint chips (see pics) that are smaller than your little fingernail. Behind the wheel wells there are gravel chips that could be easily touched-up. There are no fog lights in the front bumper. The bed is in great condition with a plasic bed cover on it. The bed under it has no rust and ther is no 5th wheel hole. There is no muffler on this truck. It has a straight pipe all the way out to the exhaust. It gives it the true cummins motor sound, and it sounds great. The factory jack is under the passengers seat. The spare is in the back. The manuals come with the truck. It has front floor mats. There is 1 keypad for the remote unlock with 1 extra spare key.
