1961 Chevy C10 Pickup This 61 Chevy really has to be seen in person to see all its beauty but if you are not in the area to stop by and check it out I’ll try to give you the very best description I can. Chassis: It has a mid 80’s front suspension with a Z-notch from the back of the cab, 2x4 rails to the back of the bed. The whole body has been body dropped 3 ½” and the front suspension has 3” drop spindles 2” lower control arm’s and disc brakes. The truck is bagged with denominator 2 bags on all 4 corners with 4 ½” blitznuff valves and a 200+ psi Engine driven air compressor that feeds a 7 gallon reserve tank. A 12 gal fuel cell is located under bed with easy access fuel cap in bed. All suspension components are chrome along with a fully painted electric blue frame with pin stripping throughout. Wheels: This sweet truck sits on impressive 24x10 Bentchi wheels with 275x25xR24 Sunny tires. The rims and tires are brand new. Motor: She is defiantly a cruiser with the 350 small block 400 turbo transmission she has under the hood. Edlebrock valve covers, Edlebrock HP manifold, High performance edlebrock Carb, MSD 6AL Ignition, Hooker headers, Automatic trans hooked to a B&M floor shifter, 2 red top optima batteries, power steering, electric fans, and the motor painted blue to match the frame is what you will flaunt under the hood. Body: The cab of this beauty is a 1961 with a 65 front clip on it with the front bumper flipped and repositioned to look lower. It is a short bed with fiberglass front fenders. The firewall is shaved and the bed floor raised and shaved. Bed is lined with custom pine wood with 3” wide chrome strips. Batteries are mounted in the custom sunk in battery box in the bed for easy access. The tailgate is shaved with a roll pan and custom Cadillac taillights. The whole truck is painted in bright white pearl paint and accented with electric blue and a whole lot of chrome. Stereo: For an exceptional sounding stereo system this truck is equipped with an Eclipse head unit, 15” monitor custom mounted in dash which displays Garmen GPS and your speed. There are 2 custom fiberglass kick panels with a 8” 6” tweet combo, wrapped in blue suede with a white ostrich insert piece finished off with a plexi glass routered grill accented with 4 blue led lights. There are 2 amps located under the seat one 1000 watt Kenwood which powers the mids and highs and one 1200 watt Alpine which powers the 2 12” shallow pioneers. All these components together give it a very nice and clean sound. Interior: The interior is just as classy as the exterior with blue suede and white ostrich throughout the cab. The floor, firewall, and inner doors have all been covered in dynamat extreme material so it’s a rattle free custom classic. The floor has new pad and electric blue carpet and custom made floor mats to match. The original seat has been reupholstered with new padding and two toned with the blue suede and white ostrich which brings the old classic look with the new modern materials. Headliner has a 2 piece custom fit two toned with suede and ostrich to match the rest of the interior. The remainder of the cab has been wrapped with the white ostrich and finished off with blue piping. Still sporting the stock steering column and steering wheel gives you the classic Chevy feel. Misc: The truck has all new rubber seals, exterior and interior handles and front core support all brand new from LMC. Brand new Sun Pro gauges, all glass is like brand new, new ball joints and components. All wiring and airbag hose were done custom for this truck which run through the frame rails so wires are not exposed and gives a very clean and classy look. Like I said before there is so much about the truck that you just have to see to appreciate all the extra work done.
