For Sale is my 1985 Toyota MR2. I have owned this car since 1986 and have done all work on it myself. It's still a daily driver, and wouldn't be afraid to drive it anywhere. I rebuilt the engine a few years ago with new bearings, seals, oil pump, water pump, piston rings, freeze plugs and fuel injectors. Recently I replaced fuel tank , fuel pump and sending unit.. All regular maintenance has been done like brakes, clutch was done with engine rebuild, wheel bearings and fluid changes done on a regular basis. The only oil thats been used since the rebuild is AMSoil synthetic. The body is in pretty good shape, no rust, back quarter has had some damage from where I was in a fender bender. It's been bondo'd and primed, just never got around to finishing it. Interior is in good shape for a car of 25 years and has been well kept. It has new tires all around.I really hate to sell it because of the great gas mileage, but I'm starting up a new business and I need to scale down a few vehicles.On Aug-30-10 at 14:45:15 PDT, seller added the following information: I also forgot to include a couple of things in the description, the first is that there is no AC on this car. I had never used it, so I didn't put the compressor back on after the engine rebuild. It gets a little better gas mileage and HP not having to drive the belt. also theres a crack in the windshield on the passenger side. I'ts been there for years, it's not at all in the line of sight, and you don't really notice it driving.
