Normal 0 Used 2005 Nissan Altima 3.5 SL V6 This is one GREAT running little sedan! 250hp 3.5 liter V6 engine; 5 speed automatic with manual-shift option Only 55,784 miles on the odometer – it’s just getting broken in. Front wheel drive, with estimated highway MPG near 30! (manufacturer’s specs show 29 mpg with automatic transmission) 4-wheel anti-lock disc brakes, dual airbags – safe! Power accessories include: driver seat, sunroof, windows, locks, mirrors (mirrors are heated, too) “Smart” steering wheel with cruise and stereo controls Full instrumentation – MPH, RPM, temp and fuel in analog gauges; digital gear selector readout, and warning lights BOSE sound system with 6 disc changer – sounds great! Automatic Climate Control, with A/C that blows frigid air Front heated seats HomeLink controls (for garage door opener, security system, etc) Leather interior Trunk has a cargo net; all floors and trunk have nice carpeted mats. This is one speedy little sedan. It runs great, with no hiccups or hesitation at all. The power is smooth, the transmission shifts perfectly either in full-automatic mode, or in manual “tip-up / tip-down” mode. There is no smoke out of the exhaust; no noises or rattles. No drips on the ground, and no visible leaks anywhere. The interior doesn’t squeak or rattle and all the power options work as they should. The BOSE stereo sounds great, and the A/C blows ice cold. The car tracks straight under throttle, when coasting, at cruise, on flat and bumpy roads. Nothing seems to upset it. There are no signs of any body repairs in the past; all the paint matches and there is no overspray or patchwork evident. There are a couple of small blemishes in the body – a ding in each of the driver side doors, a scratch in the passenger front fender and rear door, and a couple of small chips on the driver side rear pillar (above the trunk). None of them are major and none of them are rusting (the chips on the rear post has minor surface rust, but a scrub and some touchup paint would take care of that). All the body seams and panel joints are even and consistent, and nothing is out of alignment. See the photos for details on the body condition, I tried to cover all of the items I mentioned. Overall, this is a clean little trade-in that runs great. The passenger side scratches will probably buff out, and the driver side dings are hardly noticeable (the charcoal gray color hides quite a lot). There are no rips or tears in the interior; the cupholders are clean and not full of spilled sodas; the carpets all look great and there are no wear holes or stains that we’ve found. All the controls work the way they should. This car WILL be MD State Inspected before it is sold – so Maryland buyers, go ahead and bid!! Please, respect the fact that this is an auction.
