If you’ve been wanting a TDI wagon but don’t want to spend $$27,000 for a new one but you still want a clean and well cared for one that looks good sitting in the garage and will run for a couple hundred thousand more miles then this car may be what you’ve been waiting for. It’s my 1-Owner 03 GL TDI Wagon with 146k and it’s priced right. Read on for a full description. Mechanically this 1.9 Turbo Diesel engine and 4 speed auto transmission are solid. No smoke or blow by when warm or cold. Good smooth power and shifts. Straight alignment and the steering is tight. Brakes also feel good without pulsing or pulling. Four matching Cooper tires with good tread. Exhaust, tie rods, lighting and everything else for PA specks is above par and it’s currently Inspected until June/2011. I don’t have any service history for this car but it is a one owner car, they had just moved up from South Carolina and traded it in on a new VW here in Harrisburg, PA. Undercarriage is unbelievably clean (southern Car) and without leaks. For the age and mileage this car is great mechanically. Cosmetically it’s the same way, nice. Clean straight body panels and paint. Shines very well and was just professionally detailed. It does have a few flaws but all very normal; small stone chips around the car, some tiny door dings here and there and a few normal light scratches. The interior is very nice. Cloth is all plush without wear out or stains, carpets, headliner, door panels are all very clean without damage. Has owners manual and two sets of keys. Cargo area is even very clean. Overall for a 7 year old car I’m very impressed with the condition, anyone will be happy to own this vehicle. I’m asking a very fair $7,999 on my retail lot as well so the auction may end early.
