I have owned this car for about 10 years and have invested app. 4,500.00 and lots of labor. The underside has been sandblasted and painted. There was one rusted area on the driver's side and it was repaired. The exterior has a nice paint job - maroon body and white top. The roof, hood, fenders, and trunklid are quite straight - the doors have some unevenness - but not terrible. The chrome trim is mostly good with only a few dings. The front bumper is good, the back bumper has a couple of dents. Grill is straight. Glass is good and windows roll up and down ok. Original radio works. Seats have been professionally redone and look nice. Headliner is a little looser than I'd like and needs some attention at the rear window. Interior metal in good shape. Tires are good. Engine does not smoke, runs fine, and gets 20mpg on average. Had the cylinder head redone (10 years ago) for today's gas. Trans is good. No oil leaks. About the only negative is the first time or two you hit the brakes at the start of a drive it pulls a little to the right - straightens out and does fine after that initial braking. I take it to shows and parades and it gets many smiles from onlookers who remember their grandmother driving a Falcon. This car is sweet, but not mint. It's 45 years old and will never be perfect again. I have reduced the price for a quick sale so I can work on my next project.
