I'm listing this for my pal,Mike,and Mike bought this jeep brand new.He ordered it from the factory. It gets 18 city and 20 hiway,has a sony radio & CD and sound bar,wide fender flares,rusty chrome reverse rims for extra 6" width,a soft and hard top (both in great cond.),good tires,new cat. converter(recall), hood & window deflectors, records of all oil changes at about 2000 miles each. The only negative things I can find on this jeep,are 2 small surface rust spots,one below the pass. door and the other on top of the drivers fender(see pics)they look pretty easy to fix. And there is some dog hair on the back seat and thats an easy fix too. This jeep runs and steers great, has good brakes,clutch works great,shifts fine.This jeep was really never off roaded. the only times it was in 4 w.d. is in heavy snow or pulling a boat out of the lake. You would have a hard time finding a better (basicly stock)1998 jeep. With a little elbow grease and paint in those 2 small bubble rest spots and some bead blasting to repaint the rims or simply replace them,you would have a jeep worth in the $7000.00 range. Also has a trailor hitch and wiring,the moose comes with but the dog don't....
