I am relisting this truck with a lower reserve. 08-22-2010 This auction is for a 1937 Ford pickup truck. The truck has approximately 33,000 miles on the all steel body and 300 miles on the rebuilt original engine. It was purchased as a farm truck in 1937 in Fremont, WI and used until WW II started. It was then parked and not used again until it was sold in 1967 to an individual who painted as it looks today. From what I understand, the truck was owned by two different owners until it was sold to a local florist in Appleton, WI who used it only for parades. It was then sold to a retired teacher who sold it to me seven (7) years ago. As stated before, the truck has about 33,000 miles on the body and 300 miles on the rebuilt original engine. The engine has two Ford carbs, Mallory pointless distributor, electric fuel pump, fenton headers with new Thrush mufflers in the dual exhaust system. The radiator has been rebuilt and has a electric fan, the clutch has been replaced, and it has been updated to a 12 volt system. The truck has basically the original interior, the speedometer works, ( cable was replaced when the engine was rebuilt), the odometer works, but the trip odometer does not. All the guages work and the gas tank has a new sending unit. The truck was last painted in 1967 and therefore has some chips and blemishes. The doors had floral stickers on them when I purchsed it and some paint peeled off when I removed them. There is a crack in the left rear fender due to a broken fender brace that has been repaired. The front and rear bumpers have been replaced. It has disc brakes in the front and drum in the rear, but they are not power. Please check the pictures. They were taken on 08-09-10. I would like to see this truck remain in Wisconsin, but I know that the successful bidder maybe somewhere else in the U.S. If you have questions about this truck, please email me and I will respond within 24 hours.
