Vehicle Detail

This motorcycle is being relisted because the buyer last time was a scammer who wanted to send me too much money and have me send him a refund back. If you are a scammer please do not bid on this bike and put legit bidders through a hassel. If you can't meet my requirement for the sales transaction do not bid on this bike. A $500.00 non-refundable deposit through Pay Pal is required within 24 hours and the remainder due in cash or cashiers check within 7 days from close of auction. When you see this bike from ten feet away you think "This thing is perfect" but it is not a museum piece, it is a bike for fun riding. Upon up close, hands on inspection some minor imperfections appear, but it still attracts attention and compliments wherever it is seen. It is a matching numbers bike with a clear title in my name. I recently took it on two (200 mile roundtrip) trips and it performed flawlessly. This is a speedometer only (no tach) bike. The speedo quit working several years ago and the odometer is showing incorrect mileage. The bike had19,000 miles on it when I purchased it approximately 10 years ago and I know it has no more than 25,000 on it now. The engine bolts show no sign of being removed so I feel the engine is in original condition. This year I have installed a new battery, new fuel petcocks and fresh oil change. Tickle the carb and it is a 1st or 2nd kick start everytime. Paint generally looks good on entire bike but there are places that have been touched up with an incorrect color. Accent stripes on fenders are not perfectly centered and both mufflers have scratches on them. The seat is perfect and a comfortable riding position. Does this bike leak oil? I'm of the school - "If a Triumph doesn't leak oil - it's out of oil". Yes after a ride it will leak 3 or 4 drops out of the left side aluminum side case overnight. There is no center stand on this bike, it has the side stand only. Plenty of tread on the tires but the front should probably be replaced because of age. The spokes are standard Triumph, not chrome. It was restored before I bought it and it still looks quite nice. I hate to sell it but I have too many bikes and some have to go. Transportation / Shipping is sole responsibility of buyer.
