This Car was owned by me for just about 3 years and it was in very good condition mechanically and execellent condition body wise/interior. Unfortunately, it was parked on a busy street and someone plowed into the back of it. It does still run and drive, but due to not having a rear bumper or tailights, it is not street legal. This will make a perfect parts car for someone doing a project SHO or if someone wants the complete interior to swap. The interior is in mint condition!!! It is highly sought after by SHO owners. Specs: - 1992 Black Ford Taurus SHO MTX. ~156,752 miles. - VIN # 1FACP54Y1NA224536 - Powered dual leather seats (driver and passenger), automatic lights, programmable climate control. - Sun + moon roof (works... tilts open but has problems sliding open) - Considerably clean for its age. Has been my daily driver for 2 years. - I have changed oil every 3,000 miles. - AC does not work. - All the factory speakers are original and work well. Maintenance performed and parts replaced at 130,000 miles- - valve lash. - spark plugs. - spark plug wires. - upper intake and valve cover gaskets. -rod bearings MajorAccident -- No airbags deployed. Did not need towing. Parts affected: - rear bumper reinforcement structure. - rear bumper cover. (is what most people call the "bumper") - tailightlamp mount panel. -left and right tailights - trunk lid -both rear quarter panels New/used parts installed in the past year: - ignition module (used) - alternator.(new) - hood struts.(used) - windshield(new from safelite glass) - front struts/springs and mounts(used ones were installed). - rear strut/srpings(used ones were installed). - battery(new) -OEM exhaust system from catback to mufflers(new) I just want to add that rear quarters are destroyed, and that there is no floor and subframe supports left other than what is welded in for you to drive the car. This car does start and run but should not and cannot be driven safely and legally. It will make a great car to part out and use parts that are still in good useable condition ie.. leather seats, windows, radio, exhaust system, engine/transmission for rebuilding, rod shifter for upgrade. The body has extensive rust damage under the car and is not structurally safe to use as a donor body or shell.
