Very rare 1984 Buck Century with the 4.3 Litre diesel engine. These engines were much more reliable that the 350 V8 of that era. Not many of these were produced for the Front wheel drive cars. Capable of getting 0 plus MPG these cars had good power, easily passed emissions and produced very little diesel smoke. Diesel engine noise is almost undetectable from inside the drivers compartment. This car is equipped with Factory A/C, auto trans and an aftermarket AM-FM Cassette radio. Body is very straight and absolutely rust free Arizona car. Car is white with a blue interior (don't know why the one photo makes the car look brown but it is not. Engine is a 4.3 NOT a 3.8 that the ebay listing feature shows. This car has been in storage for the last ten years. After installing a battery and priming the fuel system the engine fired right up and ran smooth and quiet. Trans fluid is clean and bright. Powere steering was low on fluid but after adding fluid to it worked just fine. There were no visable leaks while we had it running. Becaus it has not been driven daily is is being sold as is. Most wanted to know if it could be driven long distances. It has not been driven (stored outside) for 10 years. So to clarify that point please take into consideration the following: The tires are very weather rotted. 3 were up one was flat. The flat one holds air about 24hrs. All of them are cracked and very dry rotted. Battery does not hold a charge but starts with a jump. As with any car that sits for a long time, it will likely need complete maintainence. OIl, fluid, filters, belts, hoses, thermostat etc. Although we see no problems, potential problems should be expected. The diesel fuel is very bad. It is dark brown and the gauge shows a half tank. The A/C is low on freon. When it was running the transmission moved forward and back very well. Due to the tires we did not drive it. All the windows roll up and down. The car is totally rust free and very solid. White paint is somewhat oxidised but shines up. This car was a daily driver until parked due to owners illness. It comes with a clear Arizona title. Please understand that we are selling this car AS IS because of the time it has been sitting and not driven. Other than the description there is no warranty implied what-so-ever. We highly recommend that you transport this car to you and then do maintainence as required.
