For sale my beautiful 1963 R50/2 non matching numbers! Why am I selling it? There is only 1 reason here, my soulders are injured and with this type of an old BMW ( with this fork system ) is too hard for me to ride on. My friend used to own this bike, for 12 years, I did buy from him. It was kept inside ( in the heated kitchen, yes it is true ). Always starts for the first kick, engine was rebuilt 7 years ago. The engine tranny shifts and drives how it should be. Exterior: The original paint is not in the best shape, there are some scratches, 1 dent on the tank , rear light has some hits also. Exhaust is not original, but sounds and looks nice. I put new lock set and seat cover recently Rear tire is ready to be changed, battery is good. I did change the oil this spring, like always . This bike is not spotless please understand that this old dude is 47 years old, treat it how I did and you won't have trouble with it . About the condition: I can take this bike for any trip any time, no problem for sure. I'm kindly asking you guys, please, out of respect do not offer way too less for the bike. It's worth its price.
