Up for auction is a 2001 Volkswagen Jetta GLS TDI, 4 door sedan with NO RESERVE. HIGHEST BIDDER WINS! It has normal wear and tear for a vehicle of this age. This car gets an incredible 40+ MPG! Very economical for students or commuters. Love this car so much I just bought a new Jetta TDI! Bid with confidence. Timing Belt was replaced around 115,000 miles and about that same time we put in a rebuilt LKQ transmission with 1 year unlimited mileage warranty. The warranty expires October 7th, 2010. This warranty is for the transmission only. No other warranty exists on the vehicle, nor is it expressed or implied. The car runs and drives smoothly. The glow plugs and harness were just replaced at around 152,000 miles. New set of 4 matching tires put on around 142,000 miles and still have plenty of tread. A/C blows super cold! Nice dark tint keeps interior cool. Nonsmoker and interior was just detailed. Exterior was just waxed and is very shiny and clean. Some minor scratches as can be expected. One deeper scratch about 2 inches long (probably from a shopping cart) on the passenger side rear door, as shown in picture. Interior is in great shape with no rips, tears, or holes. Center console is loose but still functions as armrest and console. Rear seats fold down to increase the trunk space for hauling large items. Nice large trunk. I've never used the spare. Power windows, door locks, gas and trunk release all function properly. This car comes with 2 remotes with keys and one valet key. Also has the manual. Don't let the mileage scare you. This car has been very dependable and the diesel engine runs cooler than gas so it should last up to 300,000-500,000 miles. The VW dealer mechanic told me I'd get tired of driving it before it quit running! I have tried to list all known defects. This is a used car and has been very well maintained, but please be reasonable about your expectations. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to ask.
