FOR AUCTION: 1993 BMW 325i We bought this car from Manhattan, New York and have travelled nearly 6000 miles across America to our end destination SAN FRANCISCO where we are staying with friends before flying home to the UK. We originally bought the car for $2400 and this auction will be run to the end with NO RESERVE but we will consider offers to end the auction early. Collection and Payment We will be located in Mill Valley, CA. We can offer viewing on the 28th Aug with the auction ending that evening. COLLECTION MUST BE IN PERSON BEFORE 30TH AUG. We require a deposit of $200 two hours after the auction ends otherwise the next highest bidder will win. The rest will be payable cash in hand on collection. Bidders must have more than 10 positive feedback or contact me before hand. Car Details The car is mechanically in great condition. The transmission shifts great and the engine runs smoothly. It has proven itself by driving us 6000 miles across country without any problems. It has recently had a new clutch, brakes and head gasket. Cosmetically the car is not great. There are some scratches and dents as you might expect from a car this age. Moreover, on the passenger side there is a larger dent in the door, a missing foglight and removed trim (the trim has since been refitted). The wild Havalina came off worse! On the interior there are a few tears in the front seats. The driver side windows and sunroof are currently not working - they did originally work so it's probably a fuse. The central locking works except for locking from the driver's door (you can lock it from the boot or passenger side). The chrome wheels look great, however, on one of the tyres there was a bulge in the side wall so we have put the spare on. The rev gauge temperature gauge and mpg gauge only works sometimes I suspect this is a loose wire. All other dials work perfectly. The air con has recently been regassed and so blows nice cool air.
