This is a rare, blue, 1964 CB160 in fairly decent condition, but incomplete. Would be a great candidate if you have another 160, ARHMA racer, custom, or whatever you like. It is very straight, minor surface rust, good front fender, straight forks, headlight, wiring etc. Rims are excellent, hubs/brakes very good.So here go's, first the BAD! The pistons are stuck! I pulled the top end and they look like they are stuck from just sitting. The bores aren't scored, indicating that the motor didn't seize etc. Valves, cam etc. look excellent. Three of the four handlebar clamp bolts are snapped off and the bars are bent. (See photo) Right rear shock is bent. Fender is kinked at the tail light. (photo)No pipes!! The side panels look ugly but are just surface rusted and straight. Headlight rim is scratched. Cables are shot. The good: Tank is perfect, chrome panels very good with some small marks. Rubber knee guards are old. Throttle, brake, clutch perch and switch gear are very good. Clutch lever is bent. Wiring loom, battery, connections, coils etc are all very good shape. The paint is original, but 46 years old. Based on the condition of the running gear etc. I suspect that it does have 9700 miles. Side cases, chain guard, brackets, etc. are straight and clean. Carbs look good, the slides are free, filters are shot, of course. No title! There you go, some bad, a lot of good, you decide! Please feel free to call me at 760-242-3490 Anytime, West Coast. Joe B.
