TRANSMISSION IS OUT OF THIS AND IN THE BACK OF THE VEHICLE>>>>>>>PARTS ONLY>>>>>>>>>>>1993 E250 Selling for Parts vehicle only... Supposed to have a new short block 351 V8 5.8 engine. I have receipts for New radiator, All new hoses, Serpentine belt, Distributor cap, spark plug wire set, spark plugs, new rear brake shoes, and a new side mirror. I bought this for my business, drove it for a few months, and the guy working for me ruined the transmission. The transmission is in parts in the back of this. The planetary gears look new. That's all I know. The trans number is E40D and this does have overdrive. Has a hitch, and drove very nice. Oil was just changed, and I am out of business with concrete work, so this van needs someone who can either, rebuild the transmission, or get a new one and install it. I have the title for this in my hand, and it does not say salvage title on it... You will need a truck to haul this away on, and some way to get it on the trailer you bring with. If you need a complete engine... the engine ran perfect a year ago and has been sitting, but when it ran, this ran perfectly. Bid accordingly....Sold as is........No warranty expressed or given. The other thing is, the engine cannot start without the transmission wiring etc. hooked up. The computer for the van is part of the transmission wiring harness...so be advised this engine will not start until everything is hooked up.... I am not a mechanic on transmissions to know what he did. All I know is there are a bunch of transmission parts in the back along with the driveshaft. Yes, the case for the transmission is there and a lot of parts. I do know what planetary gears are, but, not much of any help on the rest besides the case. I am so sorry I cannot tell you what those other parts are. This van would be good to part out. the doors are good, and it's in pretty decent shape. It drove down the road nice and straight and could tow my concrete trailer behind it easy. So, please bid accordingly. I need this off my dad's property because my brother ran his business, and since my brother is gone, my dad is renting out the land that this van sits on. So, please bring a trailer and a way to get it on the trailer somehow. a winch would be good.
