For sale is a 1983 Jeep CJ7. This jeep went through a frame off rebuild that was completed in April 2010. Every nut and bolt on this jeep is new and every part of the drivetrain was serviced and replaced as needed. I just got out of school and am not able to keep this Jeep. I have spent over 15,000.00 and countless hours. You can't build a jeep like this for what I'm asking. If you have questions, want more pictures, or would like to test drive the Jeep please contact me. 434-760-4359 BODY:The body is a 4WD Hardware fiberglass tub. The one-piece tilt front end is also made by 4WD Hardware and allows unobstructed access to the engine compartment. I had both pieces professionally sprayed with undercoating and the interior of the tub is coated with Herculiner. It has a Denim Black Bestop Supertop with full soft doors. It also has a brand new KARGO MASTER CONGO CAGE and SAFARI RACK for overhead storage. I also have a family style roll cage from a YJ installed which provides protection for the front and back passengers. SUSPENSION:The suspension is a BDS 4in lift with heavy duty shackles front and rear. The swaybar has JKS Quick Disconnects installed and all 4 shocks are brand new. DRIVETRAIN:AMC 360 V8/T5 5 Speed Transmission/Dana 300 Transfercase - Every component was disassembled and inspected. The engine has new rings, gaskets, all new bearings, camshaft, lifters, timing chain and sprockets, valve stem seals, thermostat, water pump, oil pump gears, alternator, power steering pump and box, etc.... Nothing fancy, just a stock refurbishing. The transmission was disassembled and rebuilt with all new bearings and synchros and the transfercase was rebuilt with a master kit from NOVAK. The driveshafts are stock and have all new heavy duty u-joints. AXLES and BRAKES:The D30 front and AMC 20 rear were torn all the way down and literally every component was replaced with new. The 4.10 gears were professionally installed in the front and rear. The 4.10 gearing is perfect for the 33x12.50 tires on the jeep. The AMC 20 also has a one piece axleshaft upgrade made by SUPERIOR. All of the brake components are new as well, cylinders, pads, calipers, rotors etc...even the brake and fuel lines are new stainless steel lines made by CLASSIC TUBE. The parking brake is a brand new LOKAR floor mounted Hand Brake and all of the cables and lines are new LOKAR cables as well. INTERIOR:It's simple and clean. The stainless steel dash looks great with all new guages and a grant steering wheel. The wiring harness is a new PAINLESS wiring harness. There is a Rugged Ridge lockable center console with a stereo compartment and a Tuffy rear security trunk behind the rear seat. So there is plenty of room to keep your things safely locked up in this jeep. The seats are BESTOP TRAILMAX seats and they are pretty comfortable. The rear seat is the stock seat and it has a pretty giant tear in it. You've really got to see the jeep to see how nice it really is. So if you are local please do try to come and look at it. Thanks.
