I purchased bike from gentleman that was redoing bike & lost interest or ran out of money, not sure which. He had spent alot of money & time on bike. Matching numbers on bike. Some things that he had replaced are, both rims,made in England , new spokes, wheel bearings. chrome fork ears, rear fender, had motor rebuilt from ground up, pistons, clutches etc. handlebars, painted frame, both master cylinders, electronic ignition, painted tank, new fork tubes & seals. after I purchased bike, I repaced carbs with PWK , they are great.new air filters, replaced mufflers & header pipes, I know they are not correct, I like them. installed fork gaitors, new seat, & so many things replaced, I can't recall all right now. I put milage down that was on speedometer, 8291, have no idea if that is correct, I have put less that 100 miles on bike since I've purchased.I have only ridden about 50 mph. I like riding around the neighbor hood. bike cranks easily . shifts & runs fine. all electrics, signals, brake lights, etc, work as they should. I just had front fender rechromed. lower forks have orginal chrome, I would rate chrome at about a 7 or 8 on lower forks. dosn't bother me enough to have replaced. no one notices but me. the chain guard has about a 6 inches cut out of it on the top of guard between the shock & frame, can see in pictures. this bike is 30 + years old, it is in great shape, sold as is. you are more than welcome to come & check bike out.. You can look at pictures & decide for your self the condition of this bike I did not clean bike for these pictures, this is the way it looks all the time. will help with shipping on this end, it is up to buyer to make all arrangements.
