1979 GL1000 Goldwing. Up for sale is my 79 Goldwing that I bought when gas prices were $4.00. It gets around 35mph. This is a classic bike in very good original condition. Not a show bike but a nice bike for its age. Big comfortable bike that runs good with cruise control. Shaft driven. Paint is good. Chrome is good. Exhaust is good with heat protectors. Aluminum is good. Tires are one year old Front, 2yrs Back tire. Brakes are new this spring. Seat is nice. Pad on back rest has a 3" split on the bottom, see photo. All that I have done to this bike is change oil & filter, Air filter, Brake pads, Flush Radiator, put in new spark plugs and ride it. Does not use oil or blow blue smoke. Has fairing mounted stereo. Speakers work when tested, Radio does not. There is one emblem on the right valve cover that is missing. All others are there. Gauges all work. lights on luggage bags all work. Luggage bags on side are removable. As I said a nice bike not perfect, or with a little work easily made into a vintage show bike.
