2002 Silver Honda S2000 with black leather interior. The vehicle has 76,375 miles and is in great condition. Sale includes the factory tonneau cover. 2002 was a great year for this car. The engine is a 2.0L that has a 9,000 rpm redline with peak horsepower (240) at 8,500 rpm, making it a blast to drive. In subsequent years, Honda tamed down the engine and transmission a bit to make it more consumer friendly. Honda also upgraded the stereo for this model year, installed a heated glass rear window and shortened and smoothed out the transmission from the 2001 model. The car has been in no accidents. The body has a few small paint chips mostly in front and/or dings from regular usage (see photos). Car & Driver magazine published an article called "The Blow Dryers" where they ranked the Honda S2000 above Audi TT Quattro, BMW Z4 3.0, Nissan 350z Touring, and Porche Boxster... Check it out! They gave the Honda S2000 a verdict: "A Four-wheeler with crotch-rocket DNA." I'm not the original owner but it is very clear this car has been taken care of: Garaged, smoke free, and many of the maintenance records I still have along with original window sticker, and brochure. Everything functions perfectly. The windows have been tented, it has a spolier, and the last owner put on a "Euro-sounding horn," but I have the original horn if you want to make it fully OEM. When I bought the car on 3/24/07 as a 3rd car for my wife and I, it had 55,415 miles on the odometer. We have babied this car. Buy with confidence as we always stored it in it's own 2 car garage, never driven in poor weather, the Yokohama Avid V4S tires have only 5,500 miles of wear, and the car has only been given fully synthetic Mobile 1 oil while in my possession.
