I have my 1997 BMW 740iL up for sell. She is at a low price because she needs an engine. The shop says water entered the engine as I was going thru an intersection with standing water. I just can not afford to fix her and hope to give her a good home. She drives like a dream and is in great condition excluding the engine. Here is a list of the good and bad. This is an honest description - please give honest bids. I am the third owner and the car has been kept up. I have the original manuals as well as sticker. She has a $2100.00 Premium sound system w/ CD changer - 10 speakers (one of the back speakers need replaced). She is the long version of the model (iL) so the back seats are HUGE. Leather is in great condition. Cold AC. Power everything, seat memory, Anti theft, remote key, walnut trim, soft close trunk, sunroof, rear and rear side window screens...etc (its a 740). As I said the engine will need to be replaced, the rearview mirror is not attached (I have it), the glove compartment will not open, there is minor damage to the left rear fender and right rear - barely noticable (see pics) and the clips for the two grills broke off (I have one of them) . The tires are good and have new brakes. I love this car and hate to let her go, but must. Please note that the vehicle is for sell locally and I resever the right to end the auction if sold.
