2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo Part or Fix The car runs and drives but start to overheat when driven. This car will need to be TOWED! It doesn’t over heat when left idling. The mechanic told me one of the catalytic convertors are clogged and recommend that I replace the whole exhaust. I’ve never ran the jeep to the high boiling point. When it started to overheat I shut it off and called a tow truck. I bought this truck from a guy in Maryland who wasn’t neatest guy (I’m being nice). This car has been smoked in and there evidence of that. I don’t smoke myself but he lowered his price of the truck and I bought it. He told me he replaced the motor with one with 40,000 miles on it but he could find receipt to show proof. Too bad he didn’t replace the cats at the same time L (smh). I replace the transmission with a used one because the truck had no reverse. The transmission works find now. The driver’s door panel is off because the original one was broke. I ordered one off line and will go with the truck. For an extra 75 dollars ill sell you’re a brand new radiator and water pump because I thought that was the problem. The AC works and blows cold. Some of the center console pieces are broken/missing (Refer to picture). All 4 oxygen sensors have been change and you can tell because they look new. That all I know about the truck.
