Vehicle Detail

2008 k1200gt has 4,700K. This bike been purchased from insurance company therefore carries salvage title. If you are unfamiliar with a salvage title please do a research before you bid. The bike had cosmetic damage on a right hand side. (have pictures of previous damage upon request). Kelly blue book valued over $14k (looking to get a fraction of that). Has all the bells and whistles will not try to list them all, here is helpful link for specs http://www.webbikeworld.com/BMW-motorcycles/bmw-k-1200-gt/. Bike is in great condition. Tail light has a small chip, also there is a small scratch in paint by front windshield (see pictures.) Runs perfect, absolutely no problems. If you are local welcome to inspect it before purchase. I have it advertised locally, if it's not sold buy end of auction it will be awarded to a highest bidder. I can help arrange shipping. Please E-mail me with any questions. On Aug-18-10 at 20:55:01 PDT, seller added the following information: Here is a little update. I get a lot of same questions. Let me try to answer some of them. Was there any damage besides cosmetics? All paint-able parts was repaired us necessary, then repainted. Had to change couple of minor plastics purchased from bmw dealership. Panel carrier was replaced, headlight had a small crack on the back that was fixed. All the repairs was done by friend of mine that works in a shop, and he did pretty good job. What type of accident was it? It seems that bike was laid down while moving at low speeds. Did forks and steering been evaluated? No, and I see no reason for it. I drove it around the town this summer and it handles really well. Why I'm I selling it? I bought the bike to keep it for myself. I'm sure it would last me many years, and it's a joy to ride. But as we all know how construction industry is headed in a right direction!! My job been in a shaky territory past couple of months, and future looks uncertain . So here I I'm selling my toy. Bike was purchased from insurance auction in November of 2009 and registered in April 2010. Will I make a lot of profit? It doesn't look like, will be lucky to break even. If you have any more questions feel free to ask. Thank you.
