It was a lifetime Florida car prior to my purchase. I am the second owner. All maintenance and services are up to date. I replaced the soft top in 2007 with the correct German Stayfast material in brown. Leather is supple and near perfect. All age-related issues have been addressed, including new bushings, ball joints, control arms, shocks, brakes pads and rotors, catalytic converter, O2 sensor, engine shocks, flex discs, steering coupler, rebuilt steering pump and gear box and anything else the car has needed along the way. I’ve serviced this car with the best independent Mercedes mechanic in Chicago. Anything it needed, it got. Tires have about 75% tread remaining. I drive this car every day during the summer months, weather permitting. Garaged year-round. Zero rust or corrosion. I would not hesitate to drive this car across country. Very dependable, strong, sorted. I would classify this car a strong driver, in nice condition but not so perfect that I am afraid to use it. There is one small dent around the rear passenger wheel well with no breaking in the paint. I have all of the books, owner’s manuals, tool roll and jack, original dealer brochure, copy of original invoice from Mercedes Classic Center, 2 keys with original leather key cases, and a thick stack of service records. Enthusiast owned and maintained! Please note: A/C is currently not blowing cold air. The system needs, at least, to be retrofitted to accept R134a refrigerant.
