relisted buy it now $1000. For sale locally as well. Ok, Here im selling my 1965 Mercury Comet Caliente Project that has a 289 V8 and automatic tranny. I got this car 7 years ago and havent been able to do a thing to her. No money, no time, and no garage. So, I want to see her go to someone who can restore her to what she deserves. Like i said, this Comet is a running and drivable project but the breaks are shot, so not really road worthy at the time. Starts and runs even after sitting all winter so i think this car has a lot of potential. This is a 45 year old Comet and has rust, will need some sheet metal work. Interior needs work will need carpet and seats recovered. Everything is there to get her back to original condition. This will be a good project for someone who has time, know how, and a place to restore this Classic Car. Car was in Originally Sunrise Yellow, but previous owner removed all paint from exterior and went over it with red primer.
