Ok lets try this again. This is the response I received from the first winner. Dear temrocks11, Sorry but my son got on here when i was out side and bid on your item before i could stop it. I hope you'll understand. I was looking at the item and mailman honked and i went out to see him and came back with him bidding thinking i wanted it. I hope you understand and i am sorry if this caused you a problem. We do have the kids right? Please do not bid if your not going to buy it. It's a waste of everyones time. P.S. Last time it wa up someone asked if it ran. I put a battery in and it did start and idle. It was a little rough but considering the gas in the car is 2 years old not bad. I did throttle it up and down by hand and it was fine. Here is the deal. Bought the car for my step son at the Iola car show in 2005. Drove it home to IL and started having brake problems and electrical problems. He was 14 at time so we brought it into AAMCO transmissions and they worked on it off and on for 8 months and fixed replaced a number of parts including calipers ,rotors, pads ,electric switches wires, bearings. We brought it home and it sat in the garage for over a year. When I pulled it out the top was starting to fall apart and some light weren't working again. My step son decided he didn't want it anymore. I put it up for sale but the battery was dead. I had a battery that was too big and used it to show the car to someone the hood fell down and made an arc that melted the linkage pin between the accelerator peddle and the carb. At that point we just stored it again but putting it abay the door go bent back as you can see the damage in the picture. So the engine runs or ran good when I put it away , the trans and clutch are good. The tire are ok. The body is good except for driver door and fender. The interior is dirty needs cleaning small rips in seats which I have covers on. The Frame of the top is good but cover is torn. The cover for the top down is good. This car would be fun , but I don't have the time or knowledge to get it going.
