Vehicle Detail
Here is the run down: 2004 Custom modified VTX with 51 degree total rake, 6 degrees in the trees, American Suspension Phantom B-17 forks 8" over stock with hidden brake line and built in caliper, custom built handle bars with built in hood to cover Dakota Digital Gauge, modified chrome swing arm and final drive, 240 Metz on the 18 X 8.5 RC Components Balistic rear wheel and 21 X 3.25 Metz on the 21" Balistic front wheel, custom front and rear fenders and custom struts, Tricky Air Shocks, side mount tag, custom LED turn signals, Accutronix forward controls w/matching pegs and grips, Hawg Halters hand controls with micro switches, stretched side covers, Thunder Mfg Tornado air intake, jetted carb, custom kandy black cherry paint job, custom made sissy bar, one short w/custom engraved Archangel St. Michael back plate and a custom made tall sissy bar just for carring 2 large luggage bags, Custom John Roberti Ox blood hand stitched leather seat with removable belt clip leather pockets on each side (for iPod, phone, etc...) and matching pillion pad and backrest pad, stretched gas tank, seams and gauges removed and a pop up cap installed (does not set completely flush), and a custom made exhaust from BMS Choppers. After the bike sits for about 5 days the battery is weak, so I leave it on a trickle charger. I believe it is due to the Dakota Digital gauge or the micro button in the hand control switch housing. I might can locate and fix it. All work by Twister Cycles. Check it out at http://www.californiavtxriders.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=36315&p=429132&hilit=Fried+okra#p429132 Thanks for looking.
